Position Overview
As an Inside Sales Associate, you’ll be the first point of contact for customers — providing knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient service. We’re looking for a customer-focused, team-oriented, and “get-it-done” kind of person who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys helping others succeed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Inside Sales
- Provide excellent customer service while projecting a positive image of the company.
- Answer incoming calls and make outbound calls to prospective and established customers.
- Gather and maintain detailed information about customer projects and requirements.
- Recommend suitable products to meet customer needs, including accurate material quantities, installation techniques, and design ideas.
- Prepare quotes, bids, and communicate pricing, availability, and lead times clearly and proactively.
Order Management & Procurement
- Create and process purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
- Coordinate, schedule, and track shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Work closely with vendors and internal teams to maintain inventory flow and meet customer expectations.
Qualifications and Required Skills
- Proven sales experience — lumber, construction, or building materials background strongly preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information and respond to customer questions.
- Strong knowledge of lumber and building techniques preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams to calculate material requirements.
- Proficiency in computer programs and systems used in daily business operations.
- Valid Washington State driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Construction experience a plus.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $62,400.00 - $72,000.00 per year
